What a delicious treat. If you haven't tried a loaf from
Rudi's Gluten-Free Bakery you must. This bread is fabulous. You won't believe you are eating store bought bread. This bread is moist and delicious as if you are eating a homemade loaf of bread. Rudi's is available for
online-order as well as
local grocery stores.
I love Deland Bakery's wheat-free millet breads. Their variety is reliably delicious and tastes great both toasted or fresh out of the bag. My favorite Deland Bakery products include their potato bread, millet dinner rolls and millet bagels. While these are not baked in a dedicated gluten-free factory, I have been safely eating Deland Bakery's bread for years. If you have available freezer space, consider
ordering online directly from Deland Bakery.
Sami's Bakery is a fabulous resource for wheat-free bread. While they don't certify that their product is gluten-free, I have been safely eating their product for many years now. Of their fabulous products my favorites include - millet and flax sandwich bread, millet and flax hamburger buns, millet and flax pizza crusts, millet and flax lavash and millet and flax bagels. Sami's is an affordable option for anyone looking to
bulk ordertheir wheat-free bread.
While this bread involves extra work because you are baking it yourself, this gluten-free bread is well worth the effort. Whether you own a bread maker or not, the bread bakes consistently moist, golden and delicious. If you are looking for a dairy-free bread, you can easily swap out the milk and butter for almond milk and canola oil. For the first few years that I was gluten-free, this was the only gluten-free bread option that I could find. While I don't bake my own bread every week, I love Bob's Red Mill GF Homemade Wonderful Bread for a special treat. I highly recommend it to accompany a bowl of tomato soup or cheese fondue.
